If you’re appearing with the search engines you’ll be increasing brand awareness and generating additional traffic to your website as a result. For me, the combination of Google Reader and Shareaholic is a winner. I can either share items directly from Google Reader or use Shareaholic to post sites I want to bookmark to my Google Reader shared items. I publish those shared items to my website via rss as ‘featured articles’ — that way the things I bookmark benefit not just me, but all my readers…
