Woo-hoo what? Me? ZZZZZ. Follow the ‘via’ link if you’re interested in what Posterous is up to. As far as I’m concerned, ‘spaces’ is just lipstick and rouge for a company that is circling the drain. ‘Spaces’ appears to be mostly a cosmetic change. It’s not 3x faster — in fact, it seems slower. There is still no batch editing of posts like in WordPress. There is still no backup. These are features that bloggers really need and their continued absence is why I moved back to WordPress…
Still, there are two things that I think Posterous does better than anything else; curating content and autoposting. Me? I wish WordPress would just buy Posterous because ‘Press This’ sucks and Posterous curates better than anything I’ve ever seen, but that’s not enough of a reason for me to use ‘spaces’…
